planting a SEED

Alright folks! SEED People's Market is here! Owners of The Lab and The Camp property, Shaheen & Linda Sadeghi have given birth to yet another ingenious child - SEED! :) With a dedicated staff behind them working around the clock to complete projects, it's ready at last. But that doesn't mean it is finalized and complete. It is and will be ever-evolving, as things do naturally. That is, after all, the beauty of organic growth. What is SEED People's Market, you ask? I'll tell you: SEED is a retail collection of handmade, local, and eco-sustainable vendors that all sell goods on consignment under one roof (a roof growing grass, nonetheless!). Stores within a store, if you will. We also host a variety of classes at our store, featuring The Craft Kitchen's very own Nicole Stevenson, aka Random Nicole. Please check here for a complete list of classes and their descriptions. Aside from our anchor Patagonia store, our line up varies from Visionary Boutique, Tiny Whales, The Green Life Co., African Red Tea, Life Aromatherapy, eVocal, Stephen Crout pottery, Symbiotic Form hair bows and hats, Fastenations jewelry, My Sparrow jewelry and vintage finds, Heirloom apparel, Chikabird/Randl paper goods, Betty Belts belts and jewelry made from sea glass and the like, Backward Prints plant-your-card cards, The Plant Stand, Tyler Bender Book Binding Co., Pretty Little Thieves art prints, delicious delicacies from Jenny Ross, owner of the raw food restaurant called 118 Degrees, also located at The Camp, and MORE!! Here are a few snaps I took. I'm not the greatest photographer and haven't treated my camera with the greatest of care so excuse the unprofessionalism and enjoy! Pick Your Pot - Pot Your Plant Only $5!! Created by my husband, Eric Trine!! Tiny Whales (for tiny bubbies...so cute!) eVocal set up Take a load off on our custom built deck (crafted by yours truly's hubbie). With the help of an abnormally large sliding glass door, it looks out onto our Camp Porch, equipped with vintage glider couch, vibrant adironack chairs and a lava fire pit to warm your toes and your heart <3 wrapped around the cash wrap! long and narrow. just they way we like it. :) Hope you enjoyed my quick introduction to SEED. Be sure to stop in SEED when you visit The Camp (2937 Bristol St., Costa Mesa). Look forward to seeing you! xo, heather
